Which bits are you using for rosettes ect? I ahve the stewmac dremel circle cutter (micro, but not sure which bit is best. I've seen Bosch at Home Depot for $17.95. I'm guessing your using a down spirial cut, but what size and from where? BIndings too? |

I use the stew mac jig with a die grinder. I know that some of you thing the down cuts are good but I hate them on a non clear cut. The chips are pushed DOWN and can't clear. Here is a place to get affordable solid carbide bits that work pretty darn good http://www.bqtool.com/ |

af, Lance just asked this same question about 1-1/2 weeks ago. Take a look here for some good 411. Personally, I like the downcut, gives a clean edge. Not perfect, but I think better than a straight flute bit. |

The cutters from bochet are designed for high speed. I spin my bit at 70,000 . A sure sign of a dull bit is a feathering of the edge. Also dremel tools with the bushings have a terrible amount of run out on the quill. |

I use a dremel with the Stew-Mac circle cutter. I've bought a couple of bits here. |
